Kifunejinja Shrine is one of the most famous small shrines in Japan, located in Kifune City at the foot of
Kurama mountains in Sakyo World, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. It is an ancient Shinto Shrine with a history of over 1,300 years. The Shrine is dedicated to the god of water. after passing through the torii gates, you will see a vermillion colored kasuga lanterns and stone steps on both. There are 87 stone steps.
