[Kyoto Prefecture/Kifune Shrine] Write your wish in a knotted letter!

Yuinoyashiro is located between the main shrine and inner shrine of Kifune Shrine.

The deity worshipped here is Iwanagahime, the daughter of Oyamatsumi.

Oyamatsumi offered not only his daughter Konohanasakuyahime, but also her older sister Iwanagahime in marriage to Ninigi-no-Mikoto. Konohanasakuyahime was very beautiful, but Iwanagahime was not beautiful by any stretch of the imagination. Ninigi-no-Mikoto rejected Iwanagahime. Iwanagahime lamented and enshrined in this place, wishing to free him from the same sorrows she had experienced and grant him a good match.

For this reason, it has become a power spot for matchmaking. It is also one of Japan's three major matchmaking shrines.
Kifune Shrine (Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture)
Izumo Taisha (Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture)
Kita Taisha (Usagi City, Ishikawa Prefecture)

If you come here, you should definitely try
"Musubi-bumi" (writing your wish on a vertical piece of green paper, tying it at a "musubi-dokoro" (place where you pray).
The content, of course, is related to "fate."
