A Kyoto staple that's worth visiting even if it's crowded: Kiyomizu-dera Temple

Kiyomizu-dera Temple is a classic Kyoto temple that is visited by many people throughout the year. It is especially crowded during the autumn leaves, and when it overlaps with the illumination, it is difficult to walk from the Kiyomizuzaka on the approach to the temple due to the slow traffic jams. However, the view is also spectacular, so you will want to go there all the time. The best time to visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple is early in the morning! The temple opens at 6:00 a.m., so you can easily go around the temple even in the fall. However, please note that it is still dark at 6:00 in winter and that the shops on the approach to the temple are not open yet. However, depending on the timing, you may have the Kiyomizuzaka on the approach to the temple or the main hall stage all to yourself. If it is illuminated, it is less crowded near the closing time. However, the temple grounds are large, so it is a good idea to take a stroll while reading the time to go around. If you are going there, why not also visit the Jishu Shrine, a power spot for matchmaking located behind the main hall. (※Closed for three years from August 2022 due to restoration work)

Oh, don't forget to visit the cute "Head-shaking Jizo" next to the Niomon Gate.

Cherry blossoms are great🌸 Fresh greenery is great🌿 Autumn leaves are great🍁 Winter scenery is great too❄️ How about visiting the wonderful "Kiyomizu-dera" temple all year round🤗
