The wonders of Yunnan- Blue Moon Valley

Blue Moon Valley is a river that flows from the ice capped Dragon Snow Mountain. It is located inside the same park as the Dragon Snow Mountain, and a ticket grants you access to both.

I went with a small tour group, and I found that it just made the admin a lot easier. Our tour cost around 300¥ and it included all tickets (except shuttle bus inside the park- 20¥ extra), a rain coat, 2 oxygen cans, transport between Lijiang (pick up at hotel) and Snow Mountain, and a small hot pot lunch. Tours can be booked all around Lijiang, and it's easy to find an agent. It can also be booked online.

The Mountain is quite spectacular, but unfortunately i don't have great photos, as it was incredibly misty that day. Blue Moon Valley is beautiful, and one can spend some time walking next to the river and enjoying the fresh air and beautiful views. It is rich in natural beauty and cultural history. Definitely worth a visit!
