There are several famous plum blossom spots in Kyoto. Among them, I would like to recommend "Jonan-gu Shrine" in Fushimi Ward⛩️
There are several gardens called Shinen in the large grounds, and among them, the garden called "Spring Mountain" is beautifully decorated with red and white drooping plum blossoms🌸
Also, since it is a spring mountain, there are many types of camellias that are also magnificent, and you can admire them together with the plum blossoms🌺
The moss mountain area is particularly worth seeing, and the scenery of "fallen camellias" that fall with their flowers on a beautiful carpet of moss, combined with the drooping plum blossoms, is truly a spectacular sight! 😄
The "Weeping Plum and Camellia Festival" is held every year from February to March, and many spectators visit. The plum blossoms will also fall in the latter half of the season, but the carpet of "falling plum blossoms" that covers the carpet of moss is also a sight to behold🌸😊
The shrine garden is modeled after the mansion of a Heian aristocrat, so why not enjoy the spectacular view of spring flowers only during the spring season and immerse yourself in the world of the Tale of Genji🤗
