[Kyoto] Visit a temple with a beautiful garden

I went to Kenninji Temple, which has a beautiful garden.

I wondered what a ○△□ garden was.

I learned that the garden expresses the four great ideas of Zen Buddhism (earth, water, fire, wind) 🤔

The square well in the foreground represents "earth," and the round moss in the middle represents "water."

It's hard to tell, but the pile of white sand in the back is triangular, and it seems to represent "fire." It's deep.

I sat on the veranda and spent some time relaxing.
