Enkōji Temple (圓光寺, Enkōji)

This temple is a Rinzai Zen Buddhist temple,
which was once a school for the public.
We can see Enkoji Temple from above
by climbing the hill behind the temple garden.
The beautiful garden centered around a pond
called Jukyo no Tei
with sharp rocks protruding from the sand at different angles
symbolizing a dragon in flight.
Another garden is full of maple trees that
turn the area into a field of red
and fiery oranges in the fall.
