How to get there - Take the train to Inari station and walk to the shrine. It's not far and there are several lines to choose from.
🏖️Environment/Facilities: An ancient shrine located on Mount Inari, built during the Meiji era. The highlight that everyone must photograph is the thousands of red torii gates that climb up to the mountain's peak at 233.8 meters. The path is paved with stone slabs, making it easy to walk, with some steep sections. If you walk almost to the top, you can see a beautiful view of Kyoto city. It is considered a light hiking trail.
🕰️Operating hours: Open 24 hours, but it's not recommended to come too late at night as it can be scary.
💰Average cost per person: Free entry.
💞Reason for recommendation: If you come to Kyoto, you can stop by to pray. It's convenient to travel to and take beautiful photos, but you need to be prepared for some physical exertion.
