Delicious restaurants in Kyoto

The shop is called Honke Owariya, a long-established soba shop that has been open for 560 years this year. The atmosphere in the shop is very good. It is a 2-story wooden house with tables divided into different rooms. The famous menu is Hourai Soba, served as a set with layers of soba noodles in a lunchbox to eat with various toppings on the set plate and soup. But it looked like too much for me, so I tried hot soba with grilled fish in soy sauce. They also have small bowls of rice to choose from to pair with it. I glanced at Bee and Bee's tendon, which looked delicious. If you order rice, you will get a small bowl of hot or cold soba. When I left the shop, there was still a line waiting. If you come at noon, you might have to wait a bit.
