Li Shangyin Park, located in the eastern part of Xingyang City, is built on the site of Li Shangyin's tomb. Each scenic spot here captures the artistic conception of a poem by the great Tang Dynasty poet. Surrounding Li Shangyin's tomb is a 130-meter-long poetry wall, inscribed with the poet's most famous works.
The Bluebird Garden Square in the park is named after a line from a poem by Li Shangyin: "When I look in the mirror in the morning, I worry about my graying hair; when I recite poems at night, I feel the moonlight is cold. There are not many roads to Pengshan, and the bluebird is eager to visit me." The sculpture in the square is called Bluebird Transmitter, which brings the feeling of longing to the person you miss day and night.
Visitors are greeted by a statue of the poet Li Shangyin in the main entrance hall, flanked by an inscription of his most famous work, "Brocade Zither." Further ahead, a large brush rests on a pen holder, next to an inscription of the poem "Night Rain Sent to the North." Other attractions include Lingxi Square, Candle Square, Wanqing Garden, Shuangyue Pavilion, Xiangsi Pavilion, Shuangfei Pavilion, and Qiuchi Lake. Here, visitors can enjoy the scenery while appreciating the poetry and savoring the timeless works left behind by this renowned late Tang poet.
