Wearing a kimono at Kiyomizu-dera Temple (Kyoto, Japan)

Kiyomizu-dera Temple is one of the must-see temples in Kyoto! It is located on a hill and the view is beautiful. You can see Kyoto in 360 degrees, especially when the leaves change color or when the cherry blossoms bloom. The atmosphere is like being transported to a Japanese movie. 🍁🌸

On this trip, we rented a kimono and walked up to the temple. It felt very special~ Wearing ancient Japanese clothing, walking through old alleys, and breathing in the fresh air made us feel calm and mindful of the present without having to rush or rush. 🌿✨

For those who like mindfulness or want to find a place to recharge, this temple is perfect. Just sitting quietly and looking at the view from the temple balcony is like resetting yourself.

📍How to get there: From Kyoto Station, take a bus for 15–20 minutes and then walk up the hill a bit

⏰ Open 8:00–18:00 (Sometimes the lights are on at night, so the atmosphere is very romantic!)
