Arashiyama Bamboo Grove: Best Visited Early Morning

During my recent trip, I visited the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, and I highly recommend going there as early as possible!

Since it's open 24 hours, there's no need to worry about matching your visit to specific opening hours. The photos above were taken around 8 AM, and even at that time, there were quite a few people 🫢. Starting from 8:30 to 9 AM, the crowd grows significantly, so I suggest arriving before then to take your photos in peace ;)

The bamboo's unique colors were so mesmerizing that I found myself constantly taking pictures. However, it's also nice to put your camera down for a moment and enjoy the scenery while walking. If you go early in the morning, you can hear the birds chirping as you stroll, which makes for a truly refreshing experience. Highly recommended! ✨
