Pushing the door and stepping into this old Showa shop, the first lesson is "take off your shoes on the first floor" - the old man in the store took away the shoes with a smile and handed over the number plate, like welcoming the guests home🥰. Stepping onto the wooden steps to the tatami area on the second floor, the handwritten menu, the yellowed gas stove, and the worn lacquerware bowls, time instantly slowed down.

The menu is simply "Sukiyaki"🍲! The base is made of green onions, onions, grilled tofu, konjac shreds and 2-3 slices of thick-cut beef. There is a "cooking tutorial" on the table - the first round of the staff will demonstrate it by hand, and then you can mix it yourself. Watch the meat slices gradually cook in the pot, wrap them with smooth egg liquid and put them into your mouth. The sauce and gravy bloom in your mouth, and it is absolutely perfect with white rice💥!
