FushimiInariTaisha and the thousand torii gates are a must-see. It feels like a maze of torii gates, creating a different mood in any photo. It's truly spectacular.

Arashiyama is also a must-see. The small bridges along the stream and the bamboo forest trails are all quintessentially Japanese. There are also many hotels nearby where you can stay overnight.

The night illumination of the glass painting is also worth seeing; it's one of the most famous in Japan. 👍
