Shock in Silence - Liuli Temple

The Ruri Jingu Shrine gave me a feeling of "stunning tranquility."

The temple is nestled against the mountainside, its stone steps flanked by lush greenery. Walking along the approach, I felt a sense of tranquility and tranquility. Upon reaching the main hall, sunlight filtered through the trees, casting shadows on the ancient eaves, and time seemed to slow down.

The most recommended way to experience this is by train and cable car 🚃🚡. The journey through the forest to the summit offers a gradually expanding view. From this vantage point, the entire shrine and the mountains beyond are breathtaking, making the journey truly worthwhile.
👉 I recommend allocating half a day to take your time and walk leisurely to truly appreciate the spirituality and tranquil beauty of this shrine.

After visiting Ruri Jingu, I stopped by a small art museum nearby.
The building is small, but stylishly designed, with large floor-to-ceiling windows that allow natural light to blend in with the garden and exhibits. The exhibitions primarily combine modern art with traditional elements, and each piece invites quiet contemplation.

I loved the quiet atmosphere, free from the hustle and bustle of the crowds, allowing me to slowly and relaxedly appreciate the art. The cafe is also worth a try; sipping tea while gazing out the window at the courtyard is a uniquely relaxing experience.
👉 I recommend combining a visit to the Ruri Jingu Shrine with a trip to experience the sacred temple atmosphere before relaxing in the art museum for a complete and layered experience.
