This trip to Kyoto, walking around the city's classic attractions and enjoying quiet time, of course, to stay in a comfortable enough hotel to complete the trip! This time I chose The Ritz-Carlton Kyoto next to Kamogawa.
The hotel is located near the Kamogawa Second Bridge, and you can already see the river view from the hotel door. Every time I go to Kyoto, I actually want to get close to nature and feel the slow life of the city. Staying here is really "the attractions right outside the door". The neighborhood is very convenient to walk to the city center shopping district, Gion, and Pontocho.
The interior of the hotel is decorated in a modern and Japanese style at the same time. The rooms are simple and spacious, with large windows overlooking the river, which is especially beautiful during the cherry blossom season. Having a sip of tea sitting in the window watching Kamogawa slowly daze already feels happy. We enjoyed an afternoon tea at the hotel, which was very Kyoto flavor in both the standard and style. After eating, we went down to Kamogawa to play and found that the water was exaggeratedly clear, so we could take a few beautiful photos. The whole afternoon was chill.
The hotel has complete facilities, the gym, swimming pool are kept very clean, and you can come and take a swim if you have time. The quality of service is unbeatable, the staff is very polite, and they all know how to help customers answer their questions. Breakfast has Japanese and Western options, the taste can be more surprising, but the quality is already good.
There are also many Kyoto specialty shops and restaurants in the surrounding area, you can discover them slowly and feel comfortable and not crowded while walking. For a quiet and romantic getaway, staying at the Ritz-Carlton is perfect.
Hotel address: 〒604-0902 Kyoto, Nakagyo Ward, Hokodencho, 543 KAMOGAWA NIJO-OHASHI HOTORI
Booking Tips: Cherry blossom season, autumn leaf season will be extremely busy, remember to book a few months in advance; choose this hotel is recommended to Book Kamogawa View room type, the view is really worth the price; breakfast sometimes go out to eat Kyoto local breakfast is good, can be generous.
Trip tip: It is recommended to go for a walk on the side of Duck River in the morning, the hotel High Tea is great in the afternoon, and you can go to Duck River to play in the water and take pictures;
