From Osaka, take the train to Shijo Omiya Station and transfer to the bright purple Randen Line (Keifuku Electric Railroad) to Arashiyama for 250 yen.

Get off at Arashiyama Station, which is bustling with tourists and filled with restaurants and shops.

This station also features the Kimono Forest, a display of kimino fabrics. It's also close to Tenryu Temple and Togetsukyo Bridge, two of the highlights of Arashiyama.

If you want to take the romantic train, we recommend getting off at Saga Arashiyama Station, where you can transfer directly to the train.
