Arashiyama, Kyoto, is a place where you can enjoy gourmet food while walking around. There are very few restaurants where you can bring your pet, so eating while walking is a perfect trip with your pet.
Yojiya Sagano Arashiyama sells take-out sweets. You can order from outside, so you can enjoy delicious sweets even when you're out with your pet. (I wasn't sure if it was OK to enter the premises, so I had my pet and companion wait at the Yojiya store.) The bamboo forest path nearby is pet-friendly, so you can enjoy a stroll while eating while walking around.
