Kyoto Nishiki Market, no special recommendations

If you're in Kyoto, you should visit Nishiki Market. It was famous as a wholesale fish market during the Edo period, and developed into the "Kitchen of Kyoto" during the Showa era. This historic shopping street in Kyoto sells a variety of Kyoto-style ingredients, pickles, processed foods, and fresh seafood, as well as plenty of souvenirs. I tried a few snacks here, but they seemed okay, not particularly delicious. I recommend just strolling around. 😌
