The biggest highlight of Kyoto PIECE Hostel is its location—just a five-minute walk from Kyoto Station. This is incredibly convenient for travelers planning day trips to Osaka or Nara. The hostel features a trendy and modern design, with a lobby offering plenty of relaxation spaces, computers, a gaming area, a free coffee machine, and clean, comfortable communal areas. They even host regular gaming events in the lobby. The front desk staff are warm, friendly, and fluent in English.👌🏻

The shared kitchen is spacious and well-equipped👍🏻. You can grab groceries or convenience store meals nearby and enjoy dinner while mingling with other travelers.

Many people hesitate about hostels due to shared bathrooms, but the facilities here are excellent. There's no need to wait, and the vanity area even has Dyson hairdryers. There's also a shower room with a bathtub where you can soak using various bath salts provided.

For this stay, I chose a private room, but you can save more by opting for a dormitory. My room had a TV, a sink, a chair, a large bed, and plenty of space—extremely comfortable.
