Sanjūsangen-dō, officially known as Rengeo-in Temple, is a 120-meter-long wooden structure, making it the longest wooden structure in Japan. Enshrining 1,001 statues of the Thousand-Armed Kannon (Senju Kannon), the goddess of mercy, Sanjusangendo ("Hall of 33 Pillars") is a reference to the traditional Japanese measurement of the building's dimensions.

Kiyomizu-dera Temple is one of Kyoto's oldest temples and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
It features several notable landmarks, including Nio-mon Gate, Sai-mon Gate, and Otowa Waterfall, from which the temple gets its name. The entrance to the temple is lined with bustling shops.
