Japan's iconic temple

Ginkakuji Temple(銀閣寺) is located in Kyoto Japan and was built by Shogun Yoshimasa Ashikaga(足利義政). The construction first started in 1482 and completed in 1490.

It is Japan's national treasure as well as UNESCO World Heritage site, along with Kinkakuji Temple(銀閣寺).

Not only is the temple beautiful, but the Japanese garden around it is well worth seeing. The view from the top of the stairs overlooks the city of Kyoto and allows you to relax and unwind.
