Ginkaku-ji Temple, one of Kyoto's representative temples

📍Kyoto, Ginkakuji
Before the Philosopher's Path begins, there is a path to Ginkakuji. It takes about 5 minutes on foot from the Philosopher's Path to Ginkakuji, so I recommend looking around together.

Ginkakuji originated from a mountain lodge built by Ashikaga Yoshimasa, the 8th shogun of the Muromachi shogunate.
The admission fee to Ginkakuji is 500 yen, but it was quieter than I thought when I visited in the morning.
Ginkakuji is a temple that shines in gold, but Ginkakuji is made of wood, so it feels a little more serious.
