Takachiho Gorge

Takachiho Gorge in Miyazaki City, located on the island of Kyushu, is a breathtaking natural wonder.

⛰️ This gorge was formed thousands of years ago by the eruption of Mount Aso. The deep ravine is traversed by the Gokase River, which creates stunning waterfalls, making it a popular scenic spot.
🛶 One of the most popular activities for visitors is boating through the gorge.
🚶♀️ There is also a short 1-kilometer walking trail along the waterfalls, where you can enjoy the natural beauty of the area, including trees of various sizes 🌳🌿🍁🍃, waterfalls, and streams. At the end of the trail, you'll find the Takachiho Shrine.
