Visit the hot springs of Oita

One of the most popular routes in Kyushu is exploring the hot springs ♨️ of Beppu in Oita. This city is renowned for its variety of hot springs, totaling around seven in number ♨️, including mud springs, copper springs, hell springs, and blue water springs. All of these are within walking distance of each other. Along the way, you can also find sand bath services and snack shops offering treats cooked using the heat from the hot springs.
If you visit this city during winter, you'll notice steam rising from the drainage pipes along the walkways, accompanied by a faint sulfur smell. But don't worry, it's not harmful.
