Lingyingtai is located in the Nan Wutai Scenic Area in Xi'an. Nan Wutai, as a branch of the Qinling Mountains and Zhongnan Mountains, rises from the ground and reaches the sky. It consists of five peaks, commonly known as the Five Terraces, namely Datai ( also known as Guanyin Terrace ) , Wenshu Terrace, Qingliang Terrace, Lingying Terrace, and Sheshen Terrace.
Lingying Terrace, like a pillar of heaven, has a glittering golden roof when viewed from afar. When there is a sea of clouds, the Golden Summit Temple looks like it is floating in the ocean. There is also a Lingying Hall built on Lingying Terrace , from which you can enjoy a 360- degree view of the beautiful scenery of Zhongnan Mountain.
