Wat Mahathat Laem Sak is located in Laem Sak Subdistrict, Ao Luek District, Krabi Province. It is an important temple and is respected by locals. Inside the temple, there is a white pagoda built in Sri Lankan art, which contains the relics of the Lord Buddha for Buddhists to worship. In addition to worshiping, the terrace on top of the pagoda is also a viewpoint where you can see a 360-degree panoramic view of the Andaman Sea and surrounding mountains, making this another beautiful viewpoint in Krabi Province.

Traveling to Wat Mahathat Laem Sak, if coming from Krabi town, will take about 1 hour and 20 minutes, with a distance of about 60 kilometers. The temple is open to visitors every day from 08.00-18.00 hrs. and there is no admission fee. When arriving at the temple, tourists must walk up the stairs to the pagoda on top, which has beautiful paintings inside. In addition to worshiping the relics of the Lord Buddha, you can also take pictures and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
