Autumn Colors at Baicaopan

Baicaopan is located in Laiyuan County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, situated at the junction of the Taihang Mountains and Yanshan Mountains. With an elevation exceeding 2,000 meters, it is one of the few high-altitude meadow ecosystems in North China. Due to the high altitude, autumn arrives early and lingers late at Baicaopan. The foliage begins to change color in mid-September and the vibrant scenery of colorful forests can still be seen until the end of October. Mornings are often shrouded in mist, while afternoon sunlight filters through, creating a fairyland-like atmosphere with interwoven light and shadows.
