[Shiga Activity] SUP experience on Lake Biwa

Speaking of Shiga, Lake Biwa comes to mind! So I went to try out the popular SUP experience. There are quite a few places where you can try out SUP, but this time I chose #supcolony in Ogoto Onsen. I didn't have a car, so it was only about 10 minutes from the station, which was great!
It was my first time trying SUP, but they gave me a detailed explanation, made me feel cheerful, and made it a fun experience!
I used my whole body to paddle, so I got sore muscles, but the wind was nice, and when I put my feet in Lake Biwa, the temperature was just right for July, and the scenery was great, so it was amazing!
Lake Biwa has fewer waves than the ocean, and you can see the mountains and the opposite shore in the distance, so even if you get carried away, you can feel at ease that you'll eventually reach somewhere (of course, the instructor is with you, so it's okay lol)
Before and after SUP, I went to Unagi no En and the restaurant Ansoleira. Ansoleira is located along Lake Biwa, and the scenery is great, so it's also perfect for chatting while eating sweets.
The reason why I recommend Ogoto Onsen is because you can relax your tired body in the bath before going home!
My friend and I went to #SpaResortOgotoAgaryanse and relaxed in the bath. This is a spa resort run by the ramen shop Tenkaippin.
By the way, the foot bath in the photo is a free foot bath in front of Ogoto Onsen Station.
This time we went for a day trip, but there are many hot spring inns, so it would be nice to stay overnight!
I would like to come back and stay overnight next time♪
