🏞Cloud Tea Village! The thousand-year-old tea trees of Nuogan Ancient Village can talk🍵
Who stumbled into the secret realm from 'Meet Yourself'? Nuogan Ancient Village, hidden deep in Jingmai Mountain, holds the most pristine Dai ethnic secrets⛰️
📍Address: No. 24 Nuogan Community, Jingmai Village, Pu'er City
🚗Travel Tips: Self-driving/chartered car is recommended. It's about a 2-hour winding mountain road from Lancang County. The latter half is a bumpy gravel road, so an off-road vehicle is better.
1️⃣ Panoramic Viewpoint of the Ancient Village
The stilt houses are breathtaking at first sight! When shrouded in morning mist, it looks like an ink wash painting. Remember to bring a telephoto lens to capture the healing scene of smoke from chimneys and tea mountains in the same frame.
2️⃣ Ancient Tea Forest Trail
Touch 800-year-old tea trees! Follow local tea farmers to learn tea picking, and you might encounter tea-picking grandmas wearing bamboo hats who will smile and invite you to drink their home-roasted tea.
📸Secret Photo Spots:
-Viewpoint next to the Buddhist temple: Golden light bathes the entire ancient village at sunset.
-Ancient Tea King Tree: Look for the "Tea God Tree" adorned with red ribbons.
🍵Food Radar:
-Hearth-roasted tea: Freshly roasted tea leaves in an earthenware pot + mountain spring water, bitter at first, then sweet.
-Tea leaf scrambled eggs: The fresh aroma of young ancient tea tree leaves is amazing.
-Dai-style grilled fish: Sour and spicy deliciousness wrapped in banana leaves.
⚠️Real Experience:
· Large temperature difference between morning and evening! Bring both light down jackets and short sleeves.
· From May to September, the rainy season brings ethereal clouds and mist, but roads can be slippery.
· Respect local customs! Do not wear short skirts in Buddhist temples, and do not touch children's heads.
Go to the end of the Tea Horse Road and be a tea-picking girl for a day~
