Shuilu Temple is located in Puhua Town, Lantian County, Xi'an City, 45 km from Xi'an. It is surrounded by the Qinling Mountains to the south and the Ba River to the north, with a beautiful environment and exquisite ancient sculptures inside the temple. It was built in the early years of the Sui Dynasty (581 AD), supervised by Yuchi Jingde during the Tang Dynasty, and served as a family temple for the Qin Prince Zhu Huaizhu during the Ming Dynasty. It is a national key cultural relic protection unit, a core attraction of the Qinling Zhongnanshan World Geopark, and a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

1⃣Take Metro Line 1/6/9 to Textile City Station, transfer to Lantian Tourist Bus Line, get off at the terminal station, walk to the CDC Station, and transfer to Lantian Tour Line 2.
2⃣Take the Lantian County Tourist Bus from Xi'an Bus Station to Lantian Bus Station, then take a taxi to the destination.
🌟Highlights:
1⃣Historical Value: Originating in the Sui and Tang Dynasties, it was originally the Shuilu Hall of Wuzhen Temple, an important venue for holding Shuilu Dharma Assemblies. It reached its peak during the Tang Dynasty, began to decline from the Song to Yuan Dynasties, and was restored by the Qin Prince during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty over five years.
2⃣Color Sculpture Art: The hall depicts the life of Sakyamuni in the form of a comic strip, with symmetrical and connected sculptures on the south and north walls. It is recommended to appreciate them from right to left in a counterclockwise direction.

1⃣Lower Wuzhen Temple: Next to Shuilu Temple, also worth a visit. One of the ancestral temples of the Pure Land Sect, with a giant reclining Buddha.
2⃣Wangshun Mountain: Also a free attraction, open from 9:00 to 16:30.
3⃣You can take a cable car to the top of the mountain for a panoramic view, with many streams along the way for relaxation and oxygenation.
