Dongqing Bay

Dongqing Bay is my favorite spot in Lanyu—it’s absolutely stunning! In the early morning, you can watch the sun rise from the horizon, turning the entire bay into a golden paradise. The water is crystal clear, the sand is soft and white, making it a pleasure to walk on. You can even see small fish swimming around, which is incredibly soothing. It’s a quiet place with few visitors, giving you a true sense of being embraced by nature. If you have the time, I highly recommend coming here to watch the sunrise—you won’t regret it. Nearby, you can also see the traditional Tao canoes, adding a rich cultural touch to the experience. It’s a perfect blend of nature and culture!
