Red Head Cave

Red Head Cave is located in Lanyu Township, Taitung County, and is a unique natural attraction in the area.

This cave is near the seaside and has been shaped by years of wave erosion, resulting in peculiar rock formations that captivate many visitors. Near the entrance of the cave, you can spot rare plants like the Orchid of the Cave Entrance, which thrive in rock crevices with incredible resilience, leaving visitors in awe.

Visiting this spot not only offers views of the sea and the cave but also, if you're lucky, the stunning scenery of the flying fish season, which is full of Lanyu's charm.

However, a word of caution: the terrain around Red Head Cave can be dangerous. Be mindful of safety when taking photos or exploring, avoid stepping on plants, and refrain from leaving trash behind.
