4 reasons to visit!

Is it worth visiting Hekou Ancient Town?

1️⃣ The ancient town is not very big, consisting of a main street and several side streets. I was surprised to find that the shops here mainly sell condiments, and the snacks are all local pastries. There is no stinky tofu or grilled sausage. There is a food street in the ancient town, but when I went there, no restaurants were open. It seems that the ancient town has not been overdeveloped, and the local residents' lifestyle has been well preserved. I saw a school in the back, and the gate was decorated with traditional Chinese patterns.

2️⃣ How long should I spend in Hekou Ancient Town?

About 1.5 hours.

3️⃣ Is it convenient to eat and stay nearby?

There are various restaurants and a food street in Hekou Ancient Town, so you don't have to worry about food. As for accommodation, I didn't see any homestays, but they may be under development and will be available in the future.

4️⃣ Parking and ticket fees in Hekou Ancient Town?

There is a parking lot, and I paid CNY 3 for 2 hours. The ancient town is free to visit.
