How to get there
🟡Go to the Bangkok Central Station, choose Gate 4 and walk into the long-distance train zone, Gate B.
🌈What to do when you arrive at Nong Khai Station?
-The officer will come to inform passengers to get off the train to check the stamp and scan their fingers. It is recommended to have a passport for convenience in traveling. It takes about 30 minutes and then get back on the train.
🌈What to do after passing through immigration and entering Laos?
-The officer will give you an immigration form to fill in.
-Enter the passport check channel with the immigration form and pay 20 baht.
-After the immigration officer checks, there will be a point for exchanging money, SIM cards, and buses in front.
For the return trip
-Get on at Vientiane Railway Station
-Fill in the immigration form
-Enter the immigration check channel, submit your passport, and pay 20 baht.
When you arrive at Nong Khai checkpoint
-The officer will come to inform you to take all your belongings down with you.
-Bring your passport for the officer to check. Impress before returning to Thailand
- Officers check luggage and return to the original train
