#Winter attractions Night market or Sticky Rice Street is the colorful nightlife of Luang Prabang. Si Savang Vong Road is transformed into a local market where Luang Prabang locals and the Hmong ethnic group bring their handicrafts to sell. There are many different kinds of products to choose from, such as silverware, local fabrics, and souvenirs from Luang Prabang. It is a bustling commercial market in Luang Prabang, so much so that there is a saying that “If Bangkok has Khao San Road, Luang Prabang also has Sticky Rice Street.” The Night Market is a night market that takes place in Luang Prabang from 5:00 PM onwards until 11:00 PM. The government has designated this time of year as a walking street. All types of vehicles are prohibited from entering or exiting or passing through. Hundreds of stalls with alternating blue and red umbrellas are set up. These colors are the colors of the Lao national flag. Normally, there are up to three hundred stalls selling various types of products, from food and drinks to clothes and souvenirs.
