Explore Hainan's Hidden Gems丨Longmu Bay's Most Beautiful Sunset Beach

Longmu Bay is located in Ledong Li Autonomous County, Hainan Province, more than 80 kilometers from Sanya City, and only 10 kilometers from Jianfengling National Nature Reserve. It is a rare bay in the western part of Hainan Province that is nestled between mountains and the sea. Known as "China's Most Beautiful Sunset Beach," it is also the longest bay area along the 18°N latitude in China. The natural ecological environment here is world-class, with long summers and no winters, extended sunlight hours, the brightest sunshine, the purest air, the bluest seawater, and the whitest beaches.

🕘【Opening Hours】: Open 24 hours, currently in a stagnant development state (relatively wild)

💴【Ticket Price】: Free attraction

⛺【Activities】: Currently, there are no activities at Longmu Bay. The main highlight is the 7-kilometer-long beach coastline, home to China's most beautiful sunset beach. At sunset, the sky and sea are dyed a rich red-gold-orange by the setting sun, with flowing clouds also gilded with golden halos, creating a magnificent and miraculous scene.

🚌【Transportation Guide】: It is recommended to drive yourself; other methods are really inconvenient. Driving along the national highway allows you to experience the local customs of Hainan.

👉【Itinerary】: Besides Longmu Bay, there is another attraction worth visiting nearby, the Jianfengling Tropical Rainforest Nature Reserve, which is only 7 kilometers from Longmu Bay. Here, you can see the "Sea of Clouds," "Sea of Fog," and "Sea of Forests," which, together with the "Sea," are known as the "Four Seas Wonders." Previously, there was a Wyndham Hotel opposite Longmu Bay, but it is likely closed now. However, there are many apartments nearby to choose from.

🧡【Preparation】: Be sure to choose a sunny day to visit, as the scenery is particularly beautiful. Pay special attention to sun protection. Most importantly, do not easily go into the sea, as the waves on the west coast are relatively large, with many undercurrents and significant drop-offs. Finally, make sure to fully charge your phone and camera, as the beautiful scenery is fleeting.
