Green Island Chaikou

Chaikou is one of the most popular snorkeling spots on Green Island, considered an entry-level paradise for Taiwanese people. The name 'Chaikou' has historical significance, as it was once a place of confrontation between indigenous people and Han settlers. Today, it has transformed into a super chill secret spot for ocean views. There's a stone pathway along the shore that leads to the beach, perfect for taking stunning photos. Many visitors also come here to watch the sunset, as the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. It's best to visit during summer when the southwest winds make the waters calmest. After enjoying Chaikou, you can also stop by nearby attractions like Dabaisha Beach and the lighthouse, making it a must-include stop in your Green Island itinerary!
