“I was trapped here by a gust of wind”
I finally came to the famous Miao Village! This trip was totally worth it. Don’t trust any warnings, just go for it with your eyes closed. It’s so stunning it leaves you speechless, and it looks even more spectacular in person. I’ve fallen in love with this land ❤️
-
🎫 Ticket: 110 RMB/person (includes 4 sightseeing bus rides)
You can book in advance on major apps, and just swipe your ID card at the entrance for easy access.
-
🎀 Outfit suggestion: Many people take ethnic-style photos here. If you want to experience local culture, you can rent Miao costumes on site. I brought my own clothes in a modern Chinese Zen style 🪭 which fits perfectly here! Trust me, white, light colors, and long dresses 👗 are definitely very photogenic~

📷 Recommended photo spots:
1⃣️ Huakai Banxia Homestay, 20 RMB/person for unlimited photos (pics 1-4)
2⃣️ Pigpen Coffee House, average spend 35 RMB+, lots of great photo spots (pics 5-8)
3️⃣ Village Art Museum, has 3 floors. It was dark when I arrived, but it should be great for photos during the day.

🌟 Little tips: Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes! There’s mountain climbing involved, but there are signs all along the way so it’s easy to find your way. Remember to bring an umbrella and take sun protection and mosquito repellent measures. It was cloudy when I went, but it will definitely be more beautiful on a sunny day!! I suggest not planning too many places in one day—just pick two must-visit spots, take photos, relax, and enjoy sitting around in the afternoon waiting for the sunset. That’s the kind of relaxed vibe a trip should have 🍃
