Lake Bliss Awaits✨

Exploring Haikou & Lhasa was an absolute dream—serene lakes, majestic peaks, and the iconic Potala Palace all soaked in Himalayan sunlight 😍✨ My DJI Osmo Pro camera proved essential here, letting me capture crystalline water and wide-sky landscapes that still take my breath away!

Must-See Places:
Potala Palace, Lhasa: 📍No. 35, Beijing Middle Road, Chengguan District. Open Jan–Apr: 09:30–15:30; May–Jul: 09:00–15:40; Jul–Sep: 08:30–17:00; Sep–Oct: 09:30–15:20. Entry ¥55. Walk up early for golden morning views and fewer crowds—plus better shots for photography lovers!

My tip: Focus on the lake views, especially at sunrise or late afternoon for the maximum tranquility. The top lakeside spots are picture-perfect, complete with sandy shores and mirrored mountains—bring a camera that handles both wide shots and color detail. If you’re into water photography, the clarity of the lake is unreal!

Getting Around: Lhasa’s taxis are affordable but can be scarce in peak season, so book ahead via trip.com or try a local car rental. Exploring by foot around the palace and lake areas is super doable.

Food: Tibetan momo dumplings and yak butter tea are must-tries. The Old Town district has some cozy spots—ask locals for the best views!

Extra Tips: Cash is still king—bring enough for tickets and snacks! Weather swings are real; pack a windbreaker and layer up. Foreign visitors need a Tibet Permit (apply ahead!), and altitude sickness can hit, so acclimatize and hydrate.
