Dragon King Lake (龙王海)

Dragon King Lake (龙王海) is an emerald green lake located in the alpine region of Bipenggou Park, Sichuan Province. It is the first stop in the park where the shuttle bus drops visitors off to explore. The lake is situated 11 kilometers from the visitor center and stands at an elevation of approximately 2,950 meters above sea level, covering a water area of 334,000 square meters.

This lake is also recognized as one of the top 100 scenic spots in Sichuan. The water is crystal clear, resembling a mirror, and legend has it that the Dragon King resides at the bottom of the lake, giving it the name "Dragon King Lake." The scenery changes with the seasons:
- In spring and summer, the mountains are lush and green.
- In late autumn, the mountains are adorned with vibrant red flowers and colorful foliage.
- In winter, the lake is blanketed in white.

The shuttle bus drops visitors off at a designated sign, and from there, you can explore the area on foot. Along the walking path, there are small waterfalls perfect for photography, as well as numerous scenic spots for taking pictures, including swings, viewpoints, and even picturesque tree-lined areas.

As you continue walking, you'll encounter a fork in the path. One route leads to a wooden walkway where you can catch the shuttle bus to the next destination, while the other is a trail for those who wish to take their time and explore further.
