Trip to Liangshan 🇨🇳

Liangshan is a place we explored that completely amazed us with its diverse ethnic culture, breathtaking landscapes, and unique traditions. Whether you love stunning lakes, ancient villages, or mountainous scenery, there are plenty of incredible spots for photography. We would recommend visiting in the morning or late afternoon for the best lighting and a more peaceful experience.

One of the most mesmerizing places we visited was Lugu Lake, a stunning high-altitude lake on the border of Sichuan and Yunnan. The deep blue waters, surrounding mountains, and floating islands made it one of the most beautiful lakes we’ve ever seen. The best time for photos is early morning when the water reflects the soft morning light, creating a peaceful and dreamlike atmosphere. Taking a traditional canoe ride with the Mosuo people was an unforgettable experience!

We also explored Xichang Qionghai Wetland Park, a paradise for nature lovers with its crystal-clear lake, lush wetlands, and vibrant birdlife. Walking along the wooden boardwalks, we captured stunning shots of the calm waters reflecting the sky. The best time for photos is at sunrise or sunset when the golden light turns the lake into a mirror of the sky. We highly recommend taking a boat ride to fully enjoy the beauty of the wetlands!

Another incredible place we visited was Luojishan, a lesser-known but breathtaking mountain with snow-capped peaks, alpine meadows, and ancient forests. The panoramic views from the summit were absolutely stunning! The best time for photos is in the morning when the rising sun casts a golden glow over the mountain ridges. Hiking here was one of the most rewarding experiences of our trip!
