🌄 Explore Yaogu Buyi Village, an uncommercialized paradise hidden from the world!
🏞️ Sharing a hidden treasure—Yaogu Buyi Village. It comes highly recommended not only for its natural beauty but also for its rich cultural heritage and the simple customs of its people.🌟
🚗 Transportation tip: Navigate directly to Yaogu Village, where the parking lot is conveniently located by the road. It's about a 45-minute drive from the east gate of Xiaoqikong; 60 minutes from the west gate; and just 30 minutes from Libo high-speed train station. The distance is roughly between 30-40 kilometers. It's suggested to visit Xiaoqikong on the first day and then arrange a trip here.
🏡 If you're not on a self-driving tour, don't worry, you can negotiate pick-up services with the accommodation owner. Many enthusiastic owners are willing to help as long as the cost is reasonable.
🍲 The village is not commercialized yet, with only some simple dining options and a few homestays. To better experience local life, we brought our own camping equipment and cooked under the camphor trees at the entrance of the village, where water is very convenient. The villagers, including two big yellow dogs and a big black dog, are very hospitable.
🛍️ There are many handicraft shops in the village. If you like, you might consider buying some to support the artisans. Most of them are pure craftsmen who don't know about online marketing, so their works are not sold online. They have poured their hearts into these crafts and the decoration of their shops.
🚯 Warm tips:
1. Please take care of the environment and do not litter. There are currently no cleaning staff here, so let's maintain this pure land together.
2. The handicrafts in the scenic area are displayed openly without supervision, which is a sign of trust in us. Please do not take or damage them at will.
3. The scenic area is open for free and is easily accessible. For those who are not driving, remember to communicate your travel plans in advance. Although there are not many dining options, don't worry, there is a convenience store next to the parking lot where you can buy snacks and drinks.
4. If you want to take close-up photos of people, it is advisable to seek their consent first. Most of them are elderly and may be shy about being on camera. However, if you establish a good relationship with them, they are usually willing to cooperate.
🌅 Yaogu Buyi Village, a place full of stories and warmth, is waiting for you to discover, feel, and experience!🌈📚
