Nanchang Bada Shanren Meihu Scenic Area is located on the south side of Changnan Avenue in Qingyunpu District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. It is adjacent to Jinsha Avenue in the west and Zhuguqiao Meicun in Nanlian Road, Qingyunpu District in the east. It was designated as a Nanchang historical and scenic area at the same time as Tengwang Pavilion.

The planned area of ​​the scenic area is about 3,200 mu, and the construction area is about 485,000 square meters. The entire scenic area consists of seven major scenic areas: Ink and Color Painting Area, Cultural Expo Area, Water Village Style Area, Three Friends of Winter Area, Farming Leisure Area, Plum Village Sixian Area and Comprehensive Entertainment Garden Area.

The first phase of the project mainly includes the Moxiang Street, Fishing Island, Cruise Ship Wharf, Art Expo Garden, Qingyun Garden, Painting Saint Square, Seven Star Square, Art Square, Bada Elegant Garden, Wooden Boardwalk, China Art First Gallery, Jucai Building, as well as roads, bridges, water systems, pavilions and other projects in the four scenic areas of Cultural Expo Area, Water Village Style Area, Winter Three Friends Area and Comprehensive Entertainment Garden Area. Meihu Bada Shanren proposed to take traditional culture as the main axis, Bada Shanren Memorial Hall as the core, Meihu water system as the link, and comprehensively integrate Bada Shanren Memorial Hall with Meihu, Mei Ruao's hometown, Cheng Yunxian Sculpture Art Museum and other cultural resources for group development and construction, striving to build the scenic area into a 4A scenic spot within 5 years, and into a 5A scenic spot within 8 to 10 years, and to create an international cultural tourism brand integrating culture, tourism, leisure, entertainment, shopping, and catering.
