🇨🇳 Suhe Old Town

This ancient town in Shangnan, with a history spanning over 1,300 years, is nestled amidst a valley with the Qinlong River flowing through it. Located just 4 kilometers from Lijiang City, it was once an important town along the Yunnan Tea & Horse Route on the Southern Silk Road. Suhe means "gathering of wealth" due to its geography, which includes the Jubao Mountains, which overlap like a place to accumulate wealth.

Today, the village is still populated by authentic Naxi people, and there are numerous shops, tea houses, silverware shops, jade shops, restaurants, cafes, and hotels and resorts.

If you plan to visit Lijiang, This is another tourist attraction worth a visit. Strolling through the ancient city is like stepping back in time.
