Shuhe Ancient Town

Visiting Shuhe Ancient Town in Lijiang felt like stepping back in time. The stone-paved streets, old wooden houses, and small canals gave the town such a charming atmosphere. Compared to the busier Lijiang Old Town, Shuhe felt quieter and more relaxed, which I really enjoyed. I wandered through little alleys, found cozy cafés, and listened to traditional music played by locals. It's free to enter. It's the kind of place where you can just stroll slowly, soak in the history, and feel connected to the culture in a gentle way.
