🏠 Accommodation: Stayed in the ancient town of Lijiang. The area is great for strolling and offers a variety of food. Upon arrival, we immediately used oxygen cans, priced at 10 yuan each, as the altitude here is around 2,000-2,400 meters above sea level, making it a bit hard to breathe. I looked it up, and it seems accurate.
⛰️ Places visited: Jade Dragon Snow Mountain National Park. Entrance fee is 100 yuan. Took a bus to Blue Moon Valley and Baishuihe Lake, which costs 20 yuan. The altitude is approximately 2,800 meters, but some sources mention certain spots reaching up to 4,000 meters above sea level.
🍽️ Yun Ti Yang Café: A beautiful spot, though the day we visited was cloudy, so we couldn’t see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain view. We went up and down several times to take photos, but the altitude made it hard to breathe. We carried oxygen throughout the trip, haha.
🌴 Black Dragon Pool: Another picturesque spot perfect for photos. It’s a relaxing place to walk around, with views of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in the background.
For every place we visited in Lijiang, carrying oxygen was a good idea. Also, chocolate and Air-X might help, though I’m not sure. I ate some when I felt dizzy, haha. Another tip is to drink electrolyte solutions frequently while walking.
