Just experienced the off-season in Lijiang Ancient Town, and this place really knows how to be romantic! 🌼 Fewer people, beautiful scenery, every snapshot looks like a masterpiece, with snow-capped mountains as the backdrop and chrysanthemums covering the ancient town streets, it feels like traveling back to spring in an instant~
✨ Stunning photo spots recommended:
1️⃣ Sifang Street Chrysanthemum Exhibition: Truly breathtaking! To see such a blooming spectacle in Lijiang in November is amazing, especially between 3-4 PM when the sunlight slants, golden chrysanthemums cast mottled shadows on the ancient town’s bluestone pavement, every photo looks like an oil painting 🌼
2️⃣ Dayan Flower Alley: This place hides many photo spots! The alley covered with fresh flowers and the distant snow mountains in the frame—remember to wear a light-colored dress, the photos will look ethereal 🧚🏻♀️
3️⃣ Viewing platform near the Mu Mansion: A hidden gem deep in the alley, offering a panoramic view of the chrysanthemum sea and the entire ancient town. No queues in the off-season, you can shoot however you want 📸
4️⃣ Corner café on Qiyi Street: The terrace seats on the second floor face the snow mountains directly. Order a cup of Yunnan small bean coffee, stare at the chrysanthemums and snow mountains in a daze—this is the right way to enjoy Lijiang ☕
🍵 Food bonus:
- "Naxi Ama Braised Ribs" at the South Gate of the ancient town is a must-try! Just near the main venue of the chrysanthemum exhibition, you can eat your fill for about 50+ RMB per person, the soup base is incredibly fresh
- Grilled milk fan and rose roasted milk at Zhongyi Market, perfect for strolling and snacking after buying
💡 Off-season tips:
✓ Large temperature difference between morning and evening in Lijiang in November, bring a jacket
✓ The ancient town has no entrance fee but a maintenance fee of 80 RMB, keep the ticket safe
✓ The chrysanthemum exhibition is expected to last until early December
✓ Drones require prior registration to fly
The biggest surprise in Lijiang this time was discovering that the off-season actually lets you see the more authentic charm of the ancient town. No crowded crowds, only blooming flowers, lazy sunshine, and majestic snow mountains—this quiet beauty will be remembered for a long, long time~
