🌈 Traveling to Lijiang on a budget 🌵 I thought I could only afford small inns 🍀 but stumbled upon the Blue Sunshine View Hotel, a hidden gem 😇😇😇. The value for money is unbeatable 🥰, and the experience is not compromised at all. —— You can check in as early as 10:30 AM, no need to wander around until the afternoon 👀. Upon arrival, you can drop off your luggage and head to the balcony to enjoy the view 👀. The shimmering waters of Black Dragon Pool, Elephant Hill right in front of you, and on clear days, you can even see the snow-capped mountains. The view exceeded my expectations by far 🌈🌈🌈.
There are various room options. I chose the basic view room, which was spacious enough, very clean, and had comfortable bedding for a great night's sleep. The hotel's location is unbeatable, with local eateries right downstairs. Breakfast, like a bowl of rice noodles, costs only 10 yuan, which is more economical than the hotel's breakfast 🚶🏻‍♂️. If you want to visit Black Dragon Pool Scenic Area 🍓, it's just a 5-minute walk, saving you taxi fare; 👣 and it's only a 15-minute walk to the Old Town Waterwheel, so no need for a taxi either. When you're tired from exploring, you can easily return to the hotel to rest 🍎.
💥 The most surprising part is the super friendly owner. Knowing my budget was tight, they recommended a free, lesser-known viewing platform and even provided free parking for my rented electric scooter to explore the surroundings. 🐌 They also allowed a late check-out until 2 PM, which was very considerate. On the last day, I didn't have to rush to pack and could enjoy the lake view a bit longer 🐢. If you're on a budget but want a comfortable stay with great views, this is the perfect choice 💥.
