A tourist destination for Chinese people! Let's go to Lijiang Ancient City, which has 800 years of history and was the setting for Sen and Chihiro!

Lijiang, along with Kunming in Yunnan Province, is a historical place famous as a tourist destination for Chinese people.

Lijiang Old Town is the starting point of the Tea Horse Road,
and is a highland city at 2,400m above sea level!

It is said to be the inspiration for the background in the movie Spirited Away :-)

Lijiang is divided into Old Town, New Town, and Old Town,
and during the great earthquake in 1996, one-third of Lijiang was destroyed,
but Lijiang Old Town was not damaged and
it was said that its 800-year history was preserved!

Because of the unique appearance of Lijiang Old Town, such as the colorful red lanterns, old buildings, and stone floors,
no matter where you take a picture, it will come out great :-)
Since it is a tourist destination, they also sell a lot of ice cream and snacks!
And the liang mien I ate at a famous restaurant in the middle of the main street was really ㅠㅠ the best.
After visiting, I searched for something similar,
and ate it often!

Even though I only spent 2 weeks in Lijiang Ancient Town,
There are still many places to see and go!
Since there are no direct flights from Korea,
You can go to Kunming and take the train there :-)
There are many guesthouses in Lijiang Ancient Town,
So if you stay a few days in a unique Lijiang architectural guesthouse,
It would be better to enjoy the atmosphere.

When you go to Lijiang, you usually travel to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Shangri-La.
